My first little fitness tip leaves you with the perfect excuse to go purchase a cute new gym set! Staying motivated is one of the hardest parts of going to the gym and I’m going to share with you a few ways to make it a lil easier to keep up the motivation.
I have been going to the gym consistently for just under 2 years and I have found it progressively harder to find ways to stay motivated. One of the main ways I stay inspired (and by far my favourite) is through purchasing a new gym set. I would definitely describe myself as a shopaholic, making this the perfect excuse to aid my addiction.
A brands I have been LOVING recently is Flexxfit an online retailer, I would describe their clothes as high quality Lululemon dupes and I seriously recommend them if you are looking for a cheap alternative that won’t break the bank. When the outfit arrives I get very excited to wear it, therefore I feel an urge to hit the gym and show off my new outfit!
If however you aren’t a hoarder of clothes like myself I have some other helpful tips to get you in the gym!
By taking progress pictures every week you will be able to see small changes in your body. When you compare your pics with photos from the beginning of your journey you’ll be able to see how far you have come already. Being able to see my progression over time has kept me motivated to keep working on my body to build muscle and reach my goals.
My last little tip is to go with a buddy! Having a workout partner this last few months has really changed my gym experience for the better. You can share your workouts and learn new exercises, push each other to go to the gym each day because no one wants to let their mate down and motivate you to lift that extra weight on your last set.
